Dianna, Melani and I just got back from a trip to Victoria Island specifically to see the Butchard Gardens. We loved the city, it is clean and friendly. The gardens were very crowded we think because it was B.C. day the day before we arrived. If you stopped to look at anything you held up a lot of people behind you. We would have liked to see a few less annuals and a lot more perennials, but it was still a great trip.
All the grandkids have jumped ship and are living at their own homes and we miss them but it was a great summer.

Christopher and I went to Victoria last year just before CJ was born and we also went to the Buchardt Gardens. WOW! They are amazing! We had hoped to get back there once more before we left the area since we were only a few hours away but we didn't get around to it with CJ's health problems. But we have some great pictures.
