Farm stuff

OK I don't know how to line up text with pictures but you can still get an idea of what is going on. Dad is off buying pipe for the pond and wasp spray, he found lots of nasty nests in the barn. The war continues. The chickens have been banned from polite society, they are back in the coop. I will figure out a portable run for them, but until then...

Mel's flowers are awesome, this doesn't do them justice and these were just transplanted in the middle of the summer.

Here are the two wicked kitties in the mudroom.

The hole is Dad's new pond. He struck an underground stream last night and the pond gained about a foot of water over night, adding to the ground water he dug into the day before. We will water today, see if we drain the pond and see what kind of refill we get.

The painting is Dad's newest genre. I think they are awesome. He almost finished another last night. he and Michael goes to Loutzenhizers place on the Pack River to do the modeling. He will have three pieces in the Jackson show. It will be interesting to see what kind of response they get.
