WAHOO!!

Carpe Dium. The day was sunny the temperature mild and the company superb...and the snowmobiles fast. I only fell off my snowmobile once as it dragged me down the mountain, it's a good thing Dad still moves fast and saved me. Then out to dinner in Hope for fish and chips, a little jacuzzi time and all is well in the north land. Thanks Mel for the snow pants. Next Christmas would be a good time to do it again.

Ahh!!!!!

Just so you know, the tractor is glorious. I have started to master the bucket which is an amazing thing. I move snow from one part of the driveway to another part and am inspired at what the right tool can accomplish. It truly is a thing of beauty.

GLORIOUS CHRISTMAS

It was a glorious Christmas holiday on THE FARM. Lots of snow, good food, rowdy games, kissing for the grandkids, jacuzzi time, and late night adult conversations as we solved the problems of the world. Here are a few pictures.

CHINESE SAGE

Sage reminded Dad that his father used to call him "Chinese". She reminds Dad of a fat little Buddha and we couldn't resist helping her look that way with her new hat.

MOM'S NEW-NEW TRACTOR

The first "used" tractor started to break shortly after we began using it. IT WAS A RED LEMON. So we took it back and finally broke down and bought one with a 5 year warranty. We're not into fixing tractors. Actually this is a great scheme for Dad, because Mom is actually loving doing the snow plowing. Sounds like a Tom Sawyer trick. "Gee Mom, this is so fun to drive. Do you want to try it?" It worked.
