Allison Krauss has been going all day to inspire the deep clean of the kitchen. I would post pictures but it doesn't look much different unless you look thru all the cupboards and drawers. I am trying to have less visual clutter so I did do some changes to the tall shelves by the table but I don't like the results yet so when I get something I like I will take a picture.
I am starting a pile in the play room of STUFF. I won't do anything with it until the kids go thru it and see if they need more stuff. If not I will have a half day garage sale and buy shoes or something fun with the money. I have decided some of my kitchen tools can be stored someplace else. I don't want to get rid of them because the once or twice times I use them in the year I love them but they are going to go with the other seasonal tools like canning stuff.
I am simplified the framing of family photos, still not sure what I'm going to go with but but I am getting rid of the one thousand and one different and very eclectic frames.
Where Nelson and I live and think of new ways to lure our grandchildren to stay longer and longer!

Not Much Happening
The weather is still dull and cold but book group met last night so most of the problems of the world are solved. Exercise is great but not a pound or an inch lost, I am not discouraged basically because I don't think that is why I am doing it, nor could I give you the reason why I am but it's good. My resting heart rate is in the excellent zone which is right under the athlete zone which is the best you can have so I feel good about that. Dad's resting heart rate is in the athlete zone which is fabulous. Our physicals for China came back looking really good for two people who are closer to sixty than fifty. We are reading as much as we have time for about China and are trying hard to get a little of the Chinese language under our belt. We are feeling mostly excited about this new adventure.

Our computer has been crazy and my sweet visiting teacher spent most of yesterday getting it back on track. She was testing some things out and went to this site http://www.thenester.com/best-of-the-nest to teach me how to use a different bookmark. Its a FUN site and one I thought worth sharing.

Rumor Has It
Well the Borens are on to another adventure. In September we will be leaving for Tienjin China for ten months to teach at Tienjin University for the Kennedy Center. We will be in Utah the first two weeks of August taking a training from BYU. We are really excited. We are going to try and rent the annex for the eleven moths we will be gone and maybe the house if someone wants something totally furnished. We will see how that plays out. Lots to do and get ready for but we are feeling very blessed with the opportunity.

Cold and Wet But It Must Be Spring
If it weren't for the rainbow Heavenly Father sent to promise that there would never be another flood to cover the earth, I would be worried about now. So many people here could be swimming in their basements, and it is still COLD......but the ladies aka (chickens) laid 14 eggs today and they are loving being outside. So if the chickens think it is spring, it must be. Other news at the farm. I have signed up at a women's health club. Relief Society does inspire to all kinds of good works. My friend Kirsten gave a presentation on exercise particularly how important it is as we get older; and for some reason it sounded good so I jumped in with both feet. So far it has been good. I do Zumba and Pilates three days a week and then the treadmill and circuit the other days. There are muscles in my body that I know were not there before. My other notice to the world is that I am old enough to wear shoes that feel good, that I can walk on all day and it doesn't matter if they cost a lot of money. And if I want to order fun colors like lime green or red I just may very well do that too.

$10
Just something to look at and if you have an extra $10 that is burning a hole in your pocket. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/361686905/the-holy-land-project?ref=email
