Today was a big one. Jessica and I both got to hold baby Sage and Jessica was able to nurse her. She only nursed about four minutes and then she needed nappies, but what a huge step forward. Yippee!!!!
She improves each day. They are hoping to take her totally off oxygen by tomorrow and remove the tube in her belly button. There has been no new leakage in the lung cavity today.
Lunch with Aunt Rosie and Uncle Stephen at the hospital cafeteria was fun. Katie sure loves both of them, they have been a great support.
We sure feel the prayers of family and friends and appreciate them. I can truly say I have felt the added support.
