No Thanks
Today I am grateful for a husband who has learned to say "no" to himself. Over the years he has said "no" to extravagant purchases, to "I like to see what this is like just once" to selfish indulgences and the list goes on. Last night I spent the evening taking care of a friends children while she went to an addiction class with her husband. Her husband is a man with tremendous talent and ability but because of his wanting to try pornography just once to see what it was all about he has struggled with a 15 year addiction that has lost him jobs, self respect and possibly his family. It has led to anger issues and possible abuse. I hope their family survives and flourishes in time. I am oh so grateful to Nelson who says"no, not interested, that's not for me, no thanks".
