Stephen and Rosie welcomed Baby Frank Nolan into the world yesterday.
Work on the basement is about 98% complete until we return from China. Here are a few pictures. This is view of the hallway. Things are a lot cleaner and brighter. New paint and a lot more lighting.
This is the room Marian's family usually occupies, it was the dreariest hole downstairs. Marian please note three new outlets. Not pictured is new outlet to the right of the sink in bathroom. Thank Granadpa.

WOWOWOWOWOWOW Mom and Dad, what luxury. It looks fantastic! Thanks for putting time, effort, and funds into a space that only gets used 3 months out of the year! We promise to use it well and often (as in frequently).
Lovely!!!!
LOVE IT!!!!! Looks great! :) We promise to come use it often too! :) :)
wow can I move into your basement? looks great!
I have a "faux" paneling thing in my basement that I did and I LOVE it and so does everyone else. However, I could never find wood slats that were as thin as my baseboards, so they hang over a little (only noticable to me I'm sure). Your's look SUPER thin, like they would work for my baseboards. What exactly did you use, how much do they cost, and where do you get them?
So are you going to be able to even see Baby Frank before you head off?
