The Basement

Marian and the children left this morning, it is hard to think it will be a whole year before we see them again.  But the bedroom Marian uses and the play/family room downstairs have been emptied and the carpet will be gone by lunch time.  All the floors will be cloroxed and the basement will have eleven months to get ready for new walls and carpet.  Any wall cracks and floor and wall joints will be sealed.  Hopefully it will be a nice place to hang out by next summer.
