I have my first CASA case (court appointed special advocate) I work with a child who is in foster care in an advocacy role. This quote makes even more sense to me now.
Contrary to the world's secular teaching, the scriptures teach us that we do have agency, and our righteous exercize of agency ALWAYS makes a difference in the opportunities we have and our ability to act upon them and progress eternally.

I had no idea you were doing CASA. I hope it is a good experience for you. Heaven knows New Mexico could use good CASA volunteers.
